Job Description Summary:
The Science Department at Cabrini University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Biology, commencing August 2018.
The department is seeking candidates with the ability to teach at the undergraduate and graduate level, with expertise in computational molecular biology and experience in either neuroscience or pharmacology/toxicology. Teaching responsibilities may include bioinformatics, computational molecular biology, neuroscience, pharmacology & toxicology, general biology for majors, non-majors biology, and senior thesis. Additionally, successful candidates are expected to have a research agenda involving mentorship of undergraduate and graduate students. Other responsibilities will include student advising, capstone project supervision, service to the department and University, contribution to the core curriculum through the Engagement with the Common Good (ECG) series, and engagement in scholarly and professional activities.

The Cabrini University Science Department is part of the School of Natural Sciences and Allied Health. It provides courses for a Master of Science in Biological Sciences, undergraduate majors in biology and chemistry, minors in biology, chemistry and environmental science, and contributes to the general education curriculum of the University.
